A wonderful ice cave with guided tours.
The nearest gorge of the Slovak paradise area. Very nice with waterfalls, ladders etc. Please dress accordingly - especially waterproof hiking shoes.

An interesting technical feature, where the train track raises 31m in a 2,3km long spiral loop, most of it inside of a tunnel. The entry of the tunnel and the top part of the spiral can be seen directly from the apartment.

The last peak of the Low Tatra mountains offers wonderful views in all directions. The hike can be steep at times. You can start directly from the apartment door. The hilltop is almost always quite windy, so dress accordingly.

Essentials
There are really small grocery shops in the center of the village to get some of the necessities, please watch out for the opening hours as they are usually rather short. For a proper supermarket you have to head to one of the bigger cities around - either Poprad or Brezno.

Getting Around
Train stop closest to the apartment. Check the local train schedule at cp.sk as the train is only running very rarely lately. Buses stop at the center of the village, and the other train stop called just Telgart is on the other end of the village.
