This fish market gets seafood fresh off the docks of Wanchese daily. The lunch specials are simply amazing with creative sauces and additions to local fish caught here on the banks like red drum, black drum, trout, cobia, oysters, wahoo, mahi, shrimp, clams and more. Great spot to eat inside or out and within walking distance from our house!

Great coffee and great people! Probably best for breakfast or lunch....but also nice to relax when it's less crowded in the afternoon by the bar and enjoy one of the craft beers or ciders on tap. HUGE selection of specialty beers for carryout. You can also do work here if you need to break out the laptop. They have a great "Make Your Own" sandwich and for veggie lovers the Black Bean Burger on Pretzel roll is fantastic.

It is a bit more expensive than some of the other larger operations but the attention to detail and quality in the food preparation is worth it. Nice view of the Manteo waterfront and docks which offer a great place to walk before or after your meal. It is a bit of a drive but worth it.

This is a great spot to find healthy lunch options and enjoy a fantastic view of the sound from the outside deck. We recommend that fresh tuna steak sandwich and the black bean burger is also very good.

Great quality seafood if your are up north in Southern Shores. The clam chowder is very good. Steamer pots are great and some nice wine selections.

Wander thru the hiking trail and stop in the nature center to learn about the flora, fauna, and fish that live in the preserve. This is a great spot to escape high winds!
