We love this spot for a lazy day. Great play equipment for kids, and an incredible view. The service can be a bit slow at times, so one shouldn't be in too much of a rush, but its worth a stop for those who have the time.

This is an absolutely iconic Midlands stop. Lovely selection of gift shops and activities, and the food is always excellent. Beautiful environment, but it is often quite busy so a wait is no uncommon.

Beautiful spot set in the middle of nowhere. We wouldn't go alone or late in the day simply due to the isolation, but is a wonderful spot to just relax in nature. mountain biking and trail running are possible, but a 4x4 (or at least a high clearance) is advisable.

The capture site and the Nelson Mandela Monument are well worth a visit on a visit to the midlands. There is a museum and the iconic monument, although it is a fair walk to get the full benefit of the sculpture.
