You know that stunning mountain you can see from my street? That is Medicine Bow Peak. It's an excellent drive and hike. Beautiful territory for hiking and fishing. Ask to borrow my maps.
Leave early, afternoon thunder storms can cause hypothermia in a few minutes and it can snow and hail in any month in Wyoming. Summit is 12,014 feet. :)

You know that stunning mountain you can see from my street? That is Medicine Bow Peak. It's an excellent drive and hike. Beautiful territory for hiking and fishing. Ask to borrow my maps.
Leave early, afternoon thunder storms can cause hypothermia in a few minutes and it can snow and hail in any month in Wyoming. Summit is 12,014 feet. :)
Perhaps not "The" Mecca of the climbing world... but *a* Mecca, for sure. Crack fiends' delight. Trad climbers paradise. Face climbers' worst nightmare.

This one is "civilized" in the sense that it's a cement pool on the side of a river. Locker room with toilets, rinse-off-showers, benches, hooks, etc, have recently been renovated.
