(12-14 minutes), Bold Missy Brewery, Heist Brewery. All the breweries are in close proximity of each other. You can also do Brewery Tours, they have to be booked in advance.

The Carolina Thread Trail starts in the downtown of Kings Mountain, runs through the Kings Mountain Gateway Trail parking lot, on to the entrance of the Rail Trail at the Gateway and then turns right onto the loop trail then right again onto the Foote trail that heads south to I-85 and on past to Galilee Church Road. This is where the Olympians train. This facility has outdoor recreation and athletic training facility for whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking. Great place and so much fun.
