The best beer and pizza in a great, casual atmosphere. Well worth the wait for a table (which can top 90 minutes on busy nights). Especially recommend the Apple Ale, and the Chicken Ranch Pizza!

Great place for breakfast/brunch. The crabby omelet is to die for! This place is popular, so expect a wait time for a table, but it's easy to hang out with a coffee while waiting.

A great starting point for your leisurely walk (or bike) on the can't-miss Coastal Trail. Bike rentals available around 5th and L. Another good start point option is Westchester Lagoon.

Worth the 2-hour drive - an amazing glacier that you can walk up to and even hike on; if you hike over the glacier about 30-40 minutes you see incredible ice formations, lakes, and cliffs.

Our museum is quite nice - good place to see some Alaska history as well.
