Parks & Nature
Here is a secret entry into the Tararua Ranges. Follow the road right to the end to a carpark. If you take a short 2 minute walk there is the regions longest swingbridge.
However the tracks are only suitable for sight-seeing shoes for 20 minutes on the track to the right. The track then gets tougher and specailised tramping boots will be needed.
