This World famous rope bridge walk is set with a spectacular backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Popular amongst tourists and locals alike, this is certainly worth visiting.
This rope bridge takes you to carrick a rede island which is a small island off the coast at ballycastle. This is somewhere to go the same day as a trip to the giants causeway as they are in close proximity 15mins drive.
Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge was first erected by fishermen in 1755. It is National Trust owned and pre booking is recommended especially during summer months. A fab walk to the bridge itself showcasing the amazing scenery of the north Antrim coast and as long as not scared of heights, well worth a visit to the bank on the other side:)
