Go for a soak at natural hot springs set in our beautiful Colorado mountains. The drive is on scenic and mountainous dirt road. I recommend using their shuttles in the winter (and even summer).
Want to relax after a long day on the slopes, can't beat the natural hot springs located just outside of town.
A must see all year round. Enjoy your natural surrounding while taking a dip in several hot springs of varying temperatures. The drive can be precarious in Winter so be sure you have an appropriate vehicle.
All natural Springs outdoors. No Kids after dark. Also has a massage hut. Various temp pools. Can be a challenging drive. Don't drive if there is a lot of snow. Hire a 4WD Uber.

“Fish Creek Falls is a must visit on your trip to Steamboat Springs. Located at the top of Fish Creek Falls Road, you pay a $5 fee per car, park in the Upper Lot, and then take a 1/4 mile hike to the bridge overlooking the falls. There is also a short overlook hike that is paved. This is awesome all year round. On a really busy day, you'll find cars parked all along the road to the Lower Lot, so best to avoid weekends and get there early, especially in the Summer. If you are up for more of a challenge, in the summer months take the trek up to the Upper Falls, which is a fairly strenuous 2.5 mile hike one way. The Upper Falls are more spectacular that the lower in my opinion.”

“Hike to see frozen or rushing waterfall with hikers and ice climbers abound. Uranium Mine Trail is a great secret alternative with lovely valley and waterfall views (steep to start, but eases out)”

“About 35 minutes north of us, (easy, lovely drive) beautiful lake and surrounding area. In winter, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling. In summer, camping, boating, mountain biking, trails, nature hikes and activities at the Steamboat Lake Visitor's Center. Historic Hahn's Peak Village, museum, or hike Hahn's Peak. On the way there, stop by the Clark Store for lunch (and ice cream in the summer months)! ”

“Another local favorite trail is Mad Creek. From this trailhead you can take a pleasant hike to the "Mad House" and also have access to the Hot Springs Trail Hike.”
