Smaller, cleaner, friendlier version of the market downtown. It's closer too. There are lots of inexpensive restaurants to choose from that have a full ocean view.

Not only is Mercado Zicatela a fantastic place to visit for textiles and local food produce, but its true gem is the incredible view from the back of the market which is lined with some of the best restaurants in town. A great hidden gem and worth a visit.

We like to go here - typically textiles and food products — but also because there is a diverse array of restaurants at the back of the market that overlook Playa Zicatela. Not on the the beaten path so definitely worth it.

Another local market with venders. Great place to get gifts for back home, and one of the only places I've ever found postcards at. Best part is the ocean view from the restaurants in the back.
