Knowth boasts the largest passage grave of the Brú na Bóinne complex. It consists of a large 12-metre high mound and 17 smaller satellite tombs. As is the case with Newgrange, the structure here is incredibly old. It has been estimated that the large mound here dates from c. 3,200 BC.
