Bike from the French Quarter into the Bywater. Plug Crescent City Park in your phone and be surprised at the colorful houses and various art installations throughout the city. Then you can take your bike up the elevator entrance to the park (make sure you find the right entrance otherwise you'll be hiking your bike up 50 stairs) and bike along the Mississipi River, maybe hear a random band there, people watch or have a picnic with wine like the locals. Or bike straight up Esplanade all the way to City Park. When you are almost to the park you will see a gorgeous cemetery on your right. Take a peak, then bike all around city park and observe the 800 yr old oaks, grab a snack, & relax!
