A must for first time visitors is the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta which will make you fall in love with the city. "El Malecon" boardwalk is the best place to walk, see traditional architecture and crystal blue waters, towering statues, aerobatic street performances, and most importantly, try authentic Mexican food.

This is the place for a morning walk or evening stroll along Banderas Bay. The 100% pedestrian only walkway is lined with lots of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as the beach and Puerto Vallarta's famous outdoor sculpture gallery.
