Hidden local gem! Very quirky, set in a big old house - they only do thurs evenings and sunday lunches - full of characters - you’ll may need to book in advance

This is Hastings' best kept secret. Hard to find, it's basically a big house with a big garden that does food (limited menu but all home-cooked) and is also available to hire for events/parties, I believe. Great for summer alfresco dining! Best check opening hours before turning up.

A family home as well as centre for artists, this is a sprawling and lovely house which serves roast dinners, drinks and has a gorgeous garden. Gorgeous views on the way too.
