Babbacombe is much smaller than Torquay, Brixham or Paignton but it is a beautiful part of the Bay which offers great beaches, outstanding views and coastal walks, the renowned gardens at Babbacombe Downs and many eateries offering a range of foods.

“Hop on the ferry from Teignmouth back beach (or drive) and head over to the quiet little village of Shaldon. Grab a bite to eat at the Ferry Boat Inn,check out the few little shops or take a walk up to the Ness House Pub and then hit the Beach. Tip - Quite hard to park in Shaldon - head towards Shaldon Zoo for main carpark. If you want to check out Shaldon's ness beach you access it via a tunnel. If you have a baby, its defiantly worth taking a baby carrier as there are steps down to the secret beach. ”

“Brixham’s first ever cocktail bar (it was only a matter of time!). Open every day from 10am until Midnight all year round. Cocktails, Cake, Lunch, Parties & More… Fun décor and friendly staff (be careful of sitting on the giant tea cups though!)”
