Until a few years ago , the Mosta Dome was the 3rd largest in the world. It visited by hundreds of tourists every week. An interesting fact is that during WWII a bomb that fell in the church never exploded. The bomb is still exhibited in the church.

Mosta Dome, one of the biggest domes in Europe, is renowned for the miraculous bombing during the war. A bomb fell threw the ceiling of the dome during mass and the not take off. The bomb is still stored in the back, open for visitations.

The Rotunda or Mosta Dome as it is known for pick-ups is the miracle church that survived the bombings during World War 2. Completed in 1860, this church has the third-largest unsupported dome in Europe.
