Long before the towering mega-resorts, Cirque shows, and 24/7 nightlife and entertainment of the Strip came to define Las Vegas forever, there was Fremont Street. The Fremont Street Experience (FSE) is a pedestrian mall and attraction in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The FSE occupies the westernmost five blocks of Fremont Street including the area known for years as "Glitter Gulch," and portions of some other adjacent streets.

In 2002 The city of Las Vegas created an entertainment district called the Fremont East Entertainment District (FEED). This district is comprised of a total of 6 blocks from Las Vegas Boulevard East to 8th Street and from Ogden Street South to Carson. Fremont East is a pedestrian friendly community that combines diverse street-life, local businesses, eateries, side-walk cafes, bars and cocktail lounges, lively entertainment, retail, and residential living while preserving a historic gambling house.

Go to Fremont street to see the original Vegas strip! There is plenty to see and do including casinos, ziplining, live music, night clubs, and a container village with a praying mantis that shoots fire out its antennas (Seriously, you got to see it).
