Cozy converted chapel. Giant cast iron stove, individual booths and wings. Great for talking, studying, gaming, etc. Part of local McMenamins empire of converted historical properties.

Super cute place to get a drink not my favorite place to eat. I appreciate their establishments" unique wood accents, robust booths, old-time-hipster playlist. Its a renovated chapel with fireplaces.

Part of the McMennamin's brewery chain, this a converted funeral home and wedding chapel that offers instant atmosphere. Like most brewpubs in Portland, this is a great getaway for adults, yet still family friendly during normal dining hours.

McMenamins basically started the microbrew revolution in the NW. They are an institution. It's a beautiful space.
