This is where Mars was discovered! There are a few telescopes you can use, a great observatory, museum and gift shop! Open late, with many special features on evenings with significant astrological events...

Pluto was discovered here! Nice informational visitor center, night time telescope viewing. 5 minute drive from house!

If you are interested in the stars and the greater universe. This is a must see. Often they have interesting exhibits and events here....check out the FLAG LIVE (local weekly paper that comes out on THURSDAYS) for listings on what may be going on at Lowell Observatory or other places locally!
