Well worth a visit. If you're feeling like a good walk, start in town and head for the old Kings Bridge at the mouth of the South Esk river. Walk the tracks along the river, over the suspension bridge and on to the historic Duck Reach power station. Maybe 2 hours return? Best bit - coffee and cake at the Cataract Gorge cafe half way along the track.

A place full of history, an eerie setting amongst a rocky river with a swinging bridge and small museum. Not visited much by tourists but known to the locals.

You can walk - lovely bush setting. Walks to the Cataract Gorge. Historic Power Station.
