A very KC thing to do. A great spot for the family, or even just the two of you. Oceans of Fun is also nearby, and a great water park.

Founder, LaMar Hunt, opened the largest amusement park in the Midwest back in 1973. It's been a staple here in KC that long. They then opened the largest water park in the Midwest that sits adjacent to WOF. A ticket to WOF will get you into Oceans of Fun also.
