Few locals ever make it as far as the Parc del Labirint in Horta (nearest metro is Mundet), making this green space a great place to lose both yourself and the crowds. As you have guessed by the park’s name the centrepiece is its wonderfully intricate maze, designed in the 18th Century by the architect Domenico Bagutti. There’s a token entry fee of around 2 euros, although if you’re really feeling the squeeze there’s free entry on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Amazing art noveau park at Horta. It is not super big, but it surely compensates with the iconic Labyrinth kids love to play at. Futhermore, there are a lot of benches to sit and places to make a picnic. Enjoy a good afternoon surrounded by a chill vibe of green and birds. Best part? Not full of tourists!
This huge and incredibly well-manicured maze sits within the oldest park in the city. You’ll find it in the Horta neighbourhood, where, if you ever make it out of the labyrinth, you can mooch around a neoclassical 18th-century garden and a 19th-century romantic garden, plus the Desvalls mansion, and an array of fountains and sculptures of mythical Greek characters. Note that there’s a small entrance fee of around €2.

Barcelona’s oldest garden spanning 55 hectares with hidden corners, mystical sculptures and a magnificent cypress hedge maze.
Go to that park and try to work your way out into the park’s labyrinth and enjoy the park! Wednesdays and Sundays it's free!
The Labyrinth of Horta Park includes the oldest preserved garden in the city. Born as a neoclassical garden with a touch of Italian physiognomy, it ended up as a romantic garden. Kids love to discover the exit of the Maze, and it's not so easy as you could think in the beggining ;)
