The picture in this entry is not at all representative of the Glòries Shopping Center. It is one of the most enjoyable shopping malls in the city, because most of it is open air. It has a very big Carrefour Supermarket and it is a great choice for shopping.

Byggnad
“Built initially as the headquarters of Barcelona`s water company, the tower is a metaphor of a geyser sprouting from the deep sea. Take a stroll at night and watch it light-up in bold colors that sometimes move and change, forming messages and figures! ”

Point of Interest
“Huge Barcelona style flea market. You can get good food in the upper floors. Technology in the middle ones and everything else you can find downstairs. Second hand clothes, used furniture, antiques, electronics, leathers and fabrics, house ware... everything very cheap.”

“What i like most about this must-see in Barcelona is the exhibition they have in the underground of the cathedral with the models Gaudí created to build it During the summer is necessary to book it in advance if you want to go in, if not it would be almost impossible to get a ticket for the day”
