This is the most photographed lighthouse in the country. If you come to Maine you have to go to Portland Head Light.

Portland headlight is beautiful and has breathtaking views of Casco Bay's many islands. About a 10-15 minute drive from us, you'll feel like you're far away from the city without the commute. Bring your lunch and sit on the grass, or your sneakers for the accompanying cliff walk.

Visit the Portland Head Lighthouse park at Fort Williams Park and take in the views of the rugged coastline, gorgeous pebble beach and the historic Fort Williams ruins. Wander over to the Portland Head Lighthouse, the most photographed lighthouse in the country, and be sure to snap a shot of yourself in front of it.
