The Malecón of Puerto Vallarta located in the downtown area, one of the main attractions of the area, you will find a variety of restaurants and bars to make your night something magical, you can travel kilometers walking since its boardwalk turned it into an exclusive pedestrian area.

Along the Malecon there's many options for eating a drinking that suit every personality, walking the Malecon is a must and I recommend doing it early morning (6-9am) or in the evening (5-9PM) that's when it is the most beautiful ! although you can definitely go anytime ! there's also lots of shopping !

On the malecon you can find some great restaurants, exciting nightclubs, people from all parts of the world, art shows, sunsets over the bay, a casino, and dining with your feet in the sand.

The "Malecón" pronounced ma-lay-cone is the boardwalk that runs the entire coast of Puerto Vallarta's downtown area. Best times of day to walk the Malecón are in the mornings and evenings. Mornings are best to get some exercise in, take in the views and soak in the serenity of the calm water. The Malecón comes to life in the evenings with performers, food vendors and music from the night clubs. If you ever don't know what to do, go to the Malecón and you'll be sure to stumble into something. Great spot for photos especially at golden hour.
