Distillery District This district was founded in 1832 and was at one point the largest distillery in the world. Today, this area is famous for its brick-paved streets and lanes with trendy coffee shops and restaurants. Great place to eat delicious food!

This neighborhood is a 3 minute walk from your flat with some of the best theatre the city has to offer ( Soul Pepper Theatre) some of the top photo galleries in Canada, ( Jane Corkin Gallery) and curated boutique gift shops . If you just want to people watch get a coffee at Balzacs. The Christmas market is a sight to behold, and always exceeds expectations and the cobblestone streets takes one back to the early years of the Industrial era.

The pedestrian-only Distillery District, set in quaint 19th century buildings that once housed a large whiskey distillery, draws crowds to its cobblestone streets lined with hip indie restaurants, bars and boutiques.

This place was is highly recommended! There is a great selection of fantastic bars and restaurants. The whole place looks amazing and feels special to walk around. Lights and sculptures outdoors lend it more charm and appeal.

An interesting place to have a meal and walk around. The pedestrian-only Distillery District, set in quaint 19th-century buildings that once housed a large whiskey distillery, draws crowds to its cobblestone streets lined with hip indie restaurants, bars, and boutiques. Art lovers come for the galleries, outdoor sculptures and dance, music, and stage performances at the area's several theatres. In December, the annual Toronto Christmas Market takes over the streets.
