Good for a range of restaurants and coffee shops, right in the heart of Solent Uni, at the top end of town. Wonder on down into the shopping area.

There is a lot more in Guildhall Square than just a theatre/arts, there's the Sea City Museum, Nuffield theatre, restaurants, coffee shops and the Mayflower theatre is close by on Commercial road. The art gallery in the main library North side of the Guildhall is well worth a visit showing off many famous pieces of artwork. It is also worth walking through East park just behind Guildhall square where there is a mini golf course and 2 outdoor tennis courts. All within 10 minutes walk.
