Grab a comfortable pair of shoes and walk up to Coit Tower through the darling streets of Telegraph Hill. Once you get to the top, take a moment to check out the amazing views.
Coit Tower provides 360-degree views of the city and bay, including the Golden Gate and Bay bridges. Other views include those of crooked, winding Lombard Street, Nob Hill, Twin Peaks, Pier 39, and the Financial District. The top of Telegraph Hill and Coit Tower can also be reached via the Filbert…
Great vistas of the city if you’re up for hiking stairs. Confirm it’s open before heading out.
Used to be a vantage point of SF before the skyscrapers. Constructed to observe fire and send fire-fighters in the 1800s -1900s (no 911 call back then). Great view day and night.

“Got to start lining up at 7:30 otherwise you will have to wait 90 minutes. Is it worth it? Depends on how hungry you get while waiting in line for 90 minutes. At that point you talk yourself into thinking its worth it otherwise you will feel like a fool.”

“Don't be thrown off by their name, the food is so good. This is my go-to for Indian food in the city—think Sunday night feast. You’ll never have to wait for a table, the space is huge. My order always consists of the lamb pasanda, chicken tikka masala, and my favorite item on the menu, kabuli naan: it’s sweet and filled with nuts and spices. This is a great place to order take-out and eat at home with a nice bottle of red. ”
