Large area with you can spend hours in! Starting with the Arc de Triomf and then walking through to the lovely avenue with palm trees on each side. Entering the park you have smaller parks and a lake to go paddling in full of ducks! At the far end you have the Barcelona Zoo. Also plenty of musicians…

Short walk from our loft. It is located in the Ribera neighbourhood, in the triangle between the Francia station, the Arc de Triomphe and the Olympic Village. It is bounded by four main roads: the Paseo de Pujades, the Paseo de Picasso, the Paseo de Circunvalación and the Carrer Wellington. It…

A green oasis located in the heart of the city, which has been a gathering point for life in the city since its creation in 1877. Indeed, when it first opened, it was only public park in the city. These days, it is home to an increasing amount of yoga groups, the Catalan Parliament and the Barcelona…

“Short and nice walk from our loft, El Born. The Picasso museum is very rich in regard to work from the formative years in the life of the artist; it ispractically exhaustive up to the Blue Period. The Museum also houses an important representation of works from 1917, and the series law Meninas  (1957) as well as a comprehensive print collection.”

“What i like most about this must-see in Barcelona is the exhibition they have in the underground of the cathedral with the models Gaudí created to build it During the summer is necessary to book it in advance if you want to go in, if not it would be almost impossible to get a ticket for the day”

Point of Interest
“Casa Batlló is a building designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, the highest representative of Catalan modernism. It is a comprehensive remodeling of a previously existing building on the site, the work of Emilio Sala Cortés. It is located at number 43 of Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona, the wide avenue that runs through the Ensanche district (Eixample), in the so-called Manzana de la discordia, because it houses, in addition to this building, other works by modernist architects: the Amatller house, which borders Gaudí's, the work of Josep Puig i Cadafalch; the Lleó Morera House, the work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner; the Casa Mulleras, by Enric Sagnier; and the Casa Josefina Bonet, by Marceliano Coquillat. The construction was carried out between the years 1904 and 1906”

Monument / sevärdhet
“Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera (meaning “stone quarry” in Catalan), is Antoni Gaudí’s last civil work, which he started in 1906 and finished in 1912. Although Antoni Gaudí was particularly well known for his modernist phase, this work is considered “modern”. Included in the World Heritage List in 1984, along with Park Güell and Palau Güell, it was one of the first places of the industrial era to be added to the list of the most exceptional sites in the world. Its nickname, “La Pedrera”, refers to its external appearance, where stone has been used as a key material for the design of the façade and the balconies.”

Park
“As one of Barcelona’s most famous attractions, Park Guell is probably Gracias biggest claim to fame. However, many people visit on a tour without even realising they’re in Gracia. Sitting atop Carmel Hill, Park Guell is a masterpiece of renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. His enigmatic designs define the city’s architecture, and this park is one of the crowning jewels in the collection.”
