Also known as Plaça de les Verdures, where from 1732 until 1935 the municipal market was inaugurated, the fair and the weekly market were held there. During Santa Tecla holidays, the four gangs of the city are mentioned in Plaça de les Cols to offer two castles and then the pilars walking, which, by order of age, raise the twenty steps of the Cathedral, descend and climb the Main Street trying to reach the town hall. All in all, in the midst of a large audience in what is one of the most popular acts of the holidays.
