Over 250 local artisans and food vendors right on the Halifax Waterfront. A great way to spend a few hours, tasting local foods and viewing art and local treasures.
Lively on Saturday morning. Lots of local food and crafts. The Cake Lady makes delicious pretzels (favourite: cinnamon) and there is a chef who sings while he cooks your breakfast. I can’t remember the name of the place, but you’ll hear him.
Not to be missed if you are in town on a Saturday. Over 200 vendors offing food, crafts, art, jewelry and more.
Shop for groceries, snacks, handmade items. Tons of craft foods and liquors as well as organic vegetables and ethnic cuisine. Open saturdays and partially on sundays.
Great place to go to get some fresh food. There are also a number of vendors selling their locally made products. Best time to go is on a Saturday.
The Market has operated in several locations across the city since its inception in 1750, but moved to the Halifax Seaport in 2010 where it is now known as the Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market - the longest continuously running Market in North America and proudly hosting over 250 vendors! Halifax…
