“Excellent Hawaiian food prepared by folks who were formerly gang members and criminals and they live like a family upstairs. "Huli" means "turn" in Hawaiian. Huli Huli chicken is grilled chicken "turned" halfway through cooking. Folks at Huli Huli are "turning" their lives around. Very meaningful but the hours are not the greatest. They close early and are closed weekends.”
