An iconic Raglan building, once known as The Tongue and Groove, which has hosted many late night misadventures. Now a lovely coffee shop/cafe, that is always popular.
A Raglan institution for brunch and lunch. Always busy, and there is a reason for that.
Food that you probably won't cook at home, always nice and warm inside and if it is sunny then outside is perfect.

“Ngarunui is a great beach for swimmers and surfers. Please swim between the flags – this is the only safe area for swimmers. There’s often decent surf at Ngarunui and some options for learners. If you’re learning how to surf, Ngarunui is the best place for you. There is a decent walk down hill and back up for visitors to this beach. There are toilets and showers. But no snacks, shade or drinking water options - so take your own. ”

“Based in an old woolshed halfway between town and the surf beach, it really does encompass the relaxed vibe that Raglan has become famous for. Great for brunch or lunch, and dinner on Friday/Saturday nights. Kids love the large lawn which includes a vintage tractor to play on. Can be accessed by kayak or standup paddle board when the tide is in. ”
