Family-run restaurant, authentic place, frequented mainly by Romans. Excellent traditional cuisine! Go early because you can't book.
Traditional Roman Osteria, with typical dishes such as tripe and rabbit, served at shared tables.
Real Trattoria Romana, low prices, nice place. Every day a typical dish, ask for the dish of the day. You cannot reserve a table

Very typical and characteristic trattoria in Trastevere. very busy, line up with the queue and be patient.

“It is not very common to eat food on the go in Italy. However, the exception to this sit down rule is absolutely pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice). The narrow shop on Via del Moro has an extended glass counter filled with long pizzas straight out of the oven. La Renella is not the type of place where you take the whole pizza for yourself (unless you are really, really hungry, I guess). Pizza al taglio is often called pizza by the slice, but it really means cut pizza. Simply select the kind of pizza(s) you want, and indicate how much they should cut off for youThat makes La Renella the perfect stop for a mid-afternoon merenda (snack), or you can order multiple kinds of pizza to taste the different flavors and build a more substantial meal. La Renella has been in operation since 1870. The forno is a pizzeria, panificio (bread maker) and biscotteria (cookie maker) . ”

“Some of the best food in Rome. So popular it's one of the few places with two seatings at dinner. Reserve in advance.”

“This pizzeria is very good, on the same price range of the pizzerias in the center you can have a very tasty product. Any kind of pizza is good. Note that here you can find only pizza to eat. The Poeta of the name is Giuseppe Gioacchino Belli, roman poet of the 19th century, ironic and funny with the moral, the day-life of the normal of people and with the "holiness of The Pope". In front of the n. 8 tram stop you can see his statue with cylinder and walking stick.”

“Authentic pizzeria with delicious pizzas, supplì and filetti di baccalà. Also knows as l'Obitorio because the marble tables resemble an obituary.”

“One of the most famous bars - cafè in the city and for sure the most famous and original in Trastevere. You sure at least pass in front of this old bar to breath a resume of the atmosphere of Trastevere. No formality, just nice time speaking everyone with everyone. In the night favourite place for students and young people.”
