“Torquay museum The Museum is housed in a venetian-gothic building, it holds large and varied collections from Torbay and around the world. The Museum comprising over 330,000 items of international, national, regional and local significance. They cover natural sciences, archaeology, ethnography, social history and local history. Large archives are held, the most important of which are papers relating to prehistoric archaeology and pictorial records of the area. The most significant objects the Museum holds relate to prehistory and local cave sites, most notably Kent’s Cavern.'”
