Tips från lokalbefolkningen
The Naam is Vancouver's oldest vegetarian restaurant and a local favourite. They use fresh and flavourful ingredients. Highly recommend this place if your a fan of vegetarian cuisine.
Voted best vegetarian year after year in Vancouver. We liked our chicken and steak so don't go here, but from what we hear from our friends and record it's a great spot and open late when we're not in a pandemic.
Their menu hasn't changed since the 60's! Vancouver's oldest vegetarian and vegan restaurant!

“The beach pub as we call it, right across from Kits beach. Be prepared for loud annoying pop music and overly zealous servers who want you to drink as many and as fast as you can. It has good tv screens for sports and a decent drink and food list, but it's not somewhere we ever go, too touristy and fake. ”

“Best kits patio, make sure you ask for a spot up there on a nice summers night. Good beer tap list, usually 20+ choices. Always changing taps, and usually 2-4 cider choices as well. The food is quite good and a lot of gluten free options. ”

“This great little spot is definitely a neighbourhood draw and is always buzzing with a diverse crowd. The Oakwood is known for its "all-Canadian" poutine, gourmet burgers and its décor - rustic Canadiana – wood, bleached antlers, lots of craft beer. Chef, Mike Robbins sources thoughtfully, he buys Ocean Wise seafood and local or Canadian meat and poultry. My recommendations are the burgers the warm kale salad and the poutine. If your looking for a cozy upscale casual spot in the neighbourhood I would check out Oakwood Canadian Bistro. ”

“Don't dress up -- this is a casual neighbourhood bakery restaurant frequented by the laid-back Kitsilano crowd. Brunch is served daily until 3pm and the menu is entirely organic (with prices to match the high food quality). Think stuffed French toast, roasted fennel tofu scramble and breakfast burritos. Portions are generous and many gluten free and vegan options are available. Save room for pie or cake -- dozens of flavours are on offer, including two gluten-free vegan cakes (available in full-size) and ten gluten-free vegan pies!”
