South of Market (aka SoMa) is a vibrant centrally-located San Francisco neighborhood, with artists, tech workers, cafes, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and plenty of loft living.
This up and comeing downtown neighborhood is a high density residential community with intermixed businesses and storefronts. This area has a somewhat smaller downtown vibe being outside of the Financial Disrtrict and shows a more authentic side of San Francisco.
