Brooklyn got the hype. The Brooklyn bridge is a MUST visit when in NYC. The thick steel cables holding this hanging structure since 1869. Get there or be square.

You can walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn through this Bridge. The Brooklyn Bridge Park is also nice a place to visit during your stay.
