East Coast Largest natural Sand dune, located in Nags Head, this sand dune is awesome. Great Sunsets, Hang Gliding or just seeing the entire OBX from the top. This is free and run by NC Park System.

Check this place out and catch the sunset! I do not recommend walking to the top in the middle of the day in the summer! Take a water bottle with you.

Dog friendly. Explore the dunes and hike to the peak for a 360 degree view of the island, sound and ocean. Parasail and fly a kite.

This is one of the largest living sand dunes in the USA east coast. You have an amazing view of the sound and the ocean. Magical sunsets.
