The restaurant is part of the castle. If you decide to ride your bicycle from Brauneberg, a very nice easy round trip 24 kilometer tour, please either walk up the paths to the castle or take the little tourist train that you can find in the center. If you do not want to hike up steep grade terrain, it is best to use your car. The restuarant serves good basic German food and the scenery is spetacular. A visit to the castle itself is a must see!

This is the castle overlooking Bernkastel. There is a nice restaurant in the courtyard of the ruins.
