Really worth a visit. This could be tied in with your walk up Slieve Gullion. Look at for the Peacock on the grounds.

Formally known as bells castle, this castle was beautifully restored a few years ago. A luxury hotel was also built on this site, with lovely garden and forest paths , adjacent to Slieve Gullion Park. It has a walled garden and cafe on the grounds. you will also get to see their herd of long horn cattle , sheep, great danes , donkey and watch out for the peacocks who parade around the gardens. property is located about 3/5 mins drive to the Castle so perfect for anyone seeking accommodation for attending weddings and functions.
