If you want local color in a true Colorado western town: A favorite of locals & tourists. A great local place in Fairplay; breakfast or lunch; but get there early... closes at 2 p.m. and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Delicious food -- including Mexican food (small portions available) and delicious burgers with Colorado beef. Best bacon around for breakfast and terrific biscuits and gravy! Great service and good prices, too.
