The Dragão Stadium is the home of the Porto Football Club. It was designed by architect Manuel Salgado and opened in 2003. The opportunity to replace the old Antas Stadium came up when Portugal hosted Euro 2004. The Dragão stadium hosted the UEFA European Championship opening match between the national teams of Portugal and Greece. The Dragão has a capacity for approximately 50,000 spectators and is home of the FC Porto Museum by BMG, a wide and technological space which shows the history of the club founded in 1893. In recent years, FC Porto won the UEFA Cup 2002/03, the Champions League of 2003/04, the 2004 Intercontinental Cup and the Europa League in 2010/11 in addition to several national titles.
