A MAGICAL CORNER OF THE COSTA BRAVA Sa Tuna is one of the best known coves in Catalonia. Its beautiful beach with its old fishermen's houses and its pine forests overlooking the very shores of the Mediterranean Sea have made it the object of desire of many lovers of beautiful beaches. Cala Sa Tuna is located in Begur and is a must-see next to the same medieval village and other beaches in the town as Aiguablava or Fornells.

This cove is the closest of the 8 coves that are part of Begur. You can hike down on a trail that avoids the road or drive. (2km) There are nice little restaurants along the water.
Take a 15 minute drive to nearby Sa Tuna where you'll find a quaint, picturesque fishing village with a pebbled beach. Surrounded by fisherman's cottages, this pretty cove has a few restaurants and bars. Only 80m x 25m , it can only be accessed on foot although there is parking nearby. Get there early as it's limited! There are showers. The drive to the beach has wonderful views.

My favorite spot by the coast. It is 1,5hrs from Barcelona by car. Lovely place with super cute little hotels around. The place is tiny but seldom crowded.
