Visitors are always welcome at Castlebar Golf Club. With USGA standard sand-based greens and tees as well as very well drained fairways this wonderful parkland course is playable all year around. Castlebar is the county town of Mayo and offers a range of accomodation options to visitors and with the golf club located just 2 kilometres from the town centre it it easily accessible. The town is readily reachable by road, rail or bus. Knock International Airport is just a 40 minutes drive from Castlebar while Dublin Airport is just 3 hours by car. Castlebar Golf Club boasts a large and modern clubhouse with full changing and showeing facilities. Further the Club offers a full catering service offering all visitors delicious home-cooked food, ranging from tea & scones upon arrival to the “full irish” breakfast as well as a wide range of sandwichs and other snacks and also beautifully prepared and presented meals.
