Incredible setting for a museum - in a church that was actually built for sailors! Check out huge lighthouse lamp set at the altar.
The National Maritime Museum of Ireland opened in 1978 in the former Mariners' Church in Haigh Terrace.
A great place to visit with or without the kids. Have a try at tying knots or just look around at all the historical maritime memorabilia & seafaring equipment. Each time I return I see something new.
