Fish Creek Falls is a must visit on your trip to Steamboat Springs. Located at the top of Fish Creek Falls Road, you pay a $5 fee per car, park in the Upper Lot, and then take a 1/4 mile hike to the bridge overlooking the falls. There is also a short overlook hike that is paved. This is awesome all…
Amazing views and a must see on your visit to Steamboat. Can do the quick 1/2 mile trek to the main falls or the 2.5mile trek up to the second falls. Weather/Conditions permitting, can even make the 5 mile trek up to long lake.

“Highly recommend this experience. Go for a soak at natural hot springs set in our beautiful Colorado mountains. The drive is on scenic and mountainous dirt road. I recommend using their shuttles in the winter (and even summer). ”

“About 35 minutes north of us, (easy, lovely drive) beautiful lake and surrounding area. In winter, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling. In summer, camping, boating, mountain biking, trails, nature hikes and activities at the Steamboat Lake Visitor's Center. Historic Hahn's Peak Village, museum, or hike Hahn's Peak. On the way there, stop by the Clark Store for lunch (and ice cream in the summer months)! ”

“Another local favorite trail is Mad Creek. From this trailhead you can take a pleasant hike to the "Mad House" and also have access to the Hot Springs Trail Hike.”
