Gracious homes and wide tree-lined streets culminating in a pretty park along the Western Promenade. The West End neighborhood is lovely in three seasons for walking. Also a really old cemetery for poking around in. Numerous bars and restaurants surrounding this whole area.

The Western Promenade provides wonderful views of western Maine and New Hampshire. It is a great picnic location at which to watch the sun set.
