Closest beach. Less than 10 mins walk. Lovely at sunset. Great for "crabbing" at low-tide. Best beach option on windy days ("Levante" - easterly wind). Quite a small beach so avoid at high tide/weekends and space is limited. Nice and safe for families.

Cadiz's fantastic iconic beach. Very quiet all year around. In the summer its better to go before midday or after 18.00 hrs when its cooler and peaceful

The most popular urban beach in Cádiz. The best time to go is in the morning and early afternoon, afterwards is too crowded. 10 minutes walking from home.

“Cadiz Museum has some rare archeological finds, like the Phoenician sarcophagus, totally intact. It has also Roman finds and paintings. Very good for a small town with lots of history! El Museo de Cádiz tiene algunas piezas únicas como los sarcófagos fenicios, totalmente intactos. También tiene restos romanos y pintura. No está nada mal para una ciudad pequeña con mucha historia!”

“If you've had enough fish in Cádiz, this is the place to come for some really good meat with hams and sausages hanging all over the place. Tapas bar at the front, restaurant at the back (if you're lucky you'll be served by a fearsome bull of a man that looks like he takes his food as seriously as he does regularly (excellent recommendations, mind you!). Try the tapa or bigger ración of carrillada Iberica picante (slightly spicy slow-cooked Iberian pig cheek stew) and a montadito de paleta y presa iberica (juicy pork steak topped with Iberican jamón in a bread roll), or if you want something more substantial try the excellent entrecote de presa Iberica (juicy shoulder steak) or the local beef (Carne Retinto). Good selection of well priced wine, too. ”
