This real locus amenus directly overlooks Lugano and offers visitors a breathtaking panoramic view that embraces both the urban center and the lake of the Swiss capital, all remaining surrounded by the naturalistic pre-Alpine context. The beauty and charm of this panoramic terrace have earned it a permanent place among the most beautiful places in Italy according to the FAI (Italian environmental fund). The Swiss side is decidedly harsh and steep and has a precipice of almost 1000 thousand meters which leads directly to Lake Lugano while the Italian side does not stand out particularly from the plain and is sweet and woody. Probably the best balcony in Italy!
